Terms of use
These terms cover the Rovelle app and rovelle.app. By using Rovelle you agree to them. Questions go to hello@rovelle.app.
Your account
Your account is for you alone. Keep your phone and sign-in secure, because anyone who can sign in as you can see your cookbook. While Rovelle is in beta, a new account needs an invite code. Each code works once and expires after 14 days.
Your recipes are yours
You own the recipes, notes and edits you make. You let us store and process them only to run Rovelle for you. When you share a recipe, anyone with the link can see it until you stop sharing.
Check recipes before you cook
Rovelle uses AI to write recipes from videos and to answer you through Pan. It flags steps that look wrong, but it can still make mistakes with quantities, temperatures, timings or ingredients. Read each recipe before you cook, check for allergens yourself, and use your own judgement about food safety. Pan's answers aren't medical or nutrition advice.
Videos and creators
Rovelle reads a video you link to so you can cook from it. It doesn't republish the video. A shared recipe credits the creator and links to the original. Import only what you're allowed to watch.
Creators who don't want their videos imported can email hello@rovelle.app. We'll stop new imports of those videos and remove their frames from existing recipes.
Fair use
Don't use Rovelle to break the law, harass anyone, share content you don't have the right to share, or get around its limits. Don't scrape it, overload it or try to break into it. You can report or block a shared recipe; recipes that several people report are hidden while we review them.
Free and Pro
Rovelle is free with a monthly import limit, which the app shows you. Pro is a subscription bought through the App Store or Google Play. It renews automatically until you cancel it there, and refunds follow Apple's or Google's rules. Deleting your account doesn't cancel Pro.
Ending your account
You can delete your account in Settings at any time; see the privacy policy for what happens next. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
The service
We work to keep Rovelle running and your cookbook safe, but we provide it as it is and can't promise it will always be available or free of mistakes. We may change or stop features, and we'll tell you in the app before a change that affects what you've paid for.
Changes to these terms
When these terms change, we update the date at the top and tell you in the app. If you keep using Rovelle after that, the new terms apply.
